Become a Member

Active Membership is for a company actively engaged as a roofing contractor in the province of BC. Applicants must:

• Have an experienced management team and experience in the roofing industry
• Satisfy the RCABC Board of Directors that the principals and key employees are of good repute and possess honesty, integrity and financial responsibility
• Be incorporated in BC for a minimum of five (5) years
• Be sponsored by a current Active Member of the RCABC
• Provide a “Consent of Surety” in RCABC’s name from a bonding company to issue a $50,000 surety bond (reduced to $25,000 after two years probation)
• Have completed BCCSA Certificate of Recognition (COR) Program

Fee Schedule
Initiation Fee $10,000.00
Annual Dues $1,050.00

Associate Membership is for a company that manufactures or supplies a product or service to the roofing industry in BC. Applicants must:

• Have an experienced management team and experience in manufacturing or supplying to the roofing industry
• Satisfy the RCABC Board of Directors that the principals and key employees are of good repute and possess honesty, integrity and financial responsibility
• Be able to provide technical support in BC for their materials or services
• Not act as a contractor to bid roofing jobs and cannot perform as brokers to secure labour for roofing jobs

Fee Schedule
Initiation Fee $2,000.00
Annual Dues $2,000.00

Membership applications are reviewed by the Membership Committee two times per year. The deadlines for submitting an application are January 15th and July 15th.
